I wrote this article in 2007 for the Koç School Alumni Magazine, Voice. It documented a tour organized by The Friends of Archeological Research in Turkey (FARIT), and it was a fascinating trip to Kemaliye and Divriği on the Euphrates River. My first trek to Eastern Turkey, it included the most harrowing drive of my life.
